Treat Your Taste Buds in Some Vietnamese Cuisine During the Annual Tet Fest


Proudly presented and hosted by the Mary Queen of Vietnam Church, Tet Fest is an annual, weekend-long celebration of the Vietnamese New Year here in New Orleans. From February 8-10, New Orleanians and visitors alike are welcomed and encouraged to participate in the festivities and traditions that make up Tet Fest.

Fest-goers can expect authentic Vietnamese foods, family-friendly activities, and both daytime and nighttime performances of traditional music and dancing. Traditional Vietnamese staples such as spring rolls, bánh mì and pho can be found at Tet Fest. Stay tuned for a full list of vendors and highlighted items for this year’s festival.

The weekend will kick-off Friday, February 8th where fest-goers are welcome from 6:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m. for an assortment of activities and games. A firework show, and dragon dance are set to begin at 6:30 p.m. Beginning at 10:00 a.m. on February 9, attendees are welcomed to try foods, browse vendors and enjoy activities throughout the afternoon.

Tet Fest will close out Sunday, February 10 with activities and music from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Test Festival is a free festival open to all.
